Eviscerated abdominal content is covered with the


  WITTMANN PATCH^?


Both sheets of the WITTMANN PATCH^? (WP) protect eviszerated abdominal
content and prevent further separation (dehiscense) of abdominal wall
fasciae. You may recognize easily the two heets of the Wittmann patch on
the picture below


        White: the interior "Loop Sheet"
        Brown: teh exterior "Hook Sheet"

For demonstartion purposes we have removed the self adhesive plastic
